Blocking a player mid-game?

Hey, I started a new daily game and was paired with a random player. This person seems to be a scammer and keeps messaging me (I have chat disabled). I would like to block the player, but if I do that, will I lose the game on time? Somehow I was paired with a player whose rating is approximately 100, and not that it matters much in the grand scheme of things, but I would prefer not to take a massive hit to my own rating if possible!
