There's something seriously wrong with chess.com search algorithm when it comes to blogs and (video searches too sometimes). It doesn't seem to pick up key words at all. you can type some very specific words of a article you know exist (I just tested this with a blog that's on the first page) and nothing will come up even similar to it.

The best way to search chess.com is with a browser search engine.

[search string] site:chess.com

The suggestion is to use your favorite search engine but use the site:chess.com option to limit the search to the site. You don't need the [ ] that's just your search terms.

The Search option on the sidebar may also be an option that could work better.

You can use a search engine like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.

If you wanted to learn about "king opposition" for example, then in the search box type the following:

king opposition site:chess.com

You could do the same to search reddit.com:

king opposition site:reddit.com

When you do a search and are on the search page, you can click the link below the search box to take you to Google with the site parameter already set.
