This was happening to me too when I was playing on a web browser. When I switched to the app I stopped getting the problem. But I guess they need to rectify this problem for those playing on a web browser.

No, seriously. I've also been having this problem on the browser. If you're using a tablet, be certain the screen is in full screen mode and that the layout is 'locked in place', before beginning a game. Avoid pressing anything beyond the board afterwards.
i haven’t played in 2 days. now i see new playing format and when i tried to drag piece entire board moved and i had to abort. i just checked my settings and it is on drag piece to move like before. thanks for any help
