Board Size

every one of my "Style Settings" components functions properly, save the one for board size. could I be missing something, or is the site?

What's your monitor "resolution"?  If it's 800x600 some board settings won't work at all.

thank you for the advice, but that's not the issue.  my resolution is acceptable, I believe, and I also conveniently neglected to mention that this component fucntioned appropriately until a few days ago. the invidious mystery persists.

During the past few days, the site has underground several major and minor software tweaks.  I suspect to restore your earlier settings, you might need to try both of the style settings' adjustment methods (webpage & Live chess area's 'bumpy wheel'/settings' link).

hmm, I have now attempted both methods; both failed. I suppose I must be content to live aside such modest vexation, for now. thanks though.
