Booted out of game and now it says I resigned
Hi,
I was experiencing the same issue last night and also made a forum topic (see: iPhone Mobile App Login - Too many failed login attempts (BUG)). So just cross commenting to gain exposure to the issue. It seems others have made forum posts, too.
I don't know what has happened with this game. I certainly didn't resign. I didn't know the evaluation and wouldn't have resigned when ahead on time in a bullet game against an unknown, lower-rated opponent.
I was playing on an iphone. From my side, my opponent's time ran down to zero and then nothing happened - no banner to say I'd won on time. I waited a while then closed the app and rejoined to find I was logged out. Got a message saying too many failed login attempts, try again later. Never any problems before and hadn't failed to log in before. I logged on desktop and found I'd lost the game and supposedly resigned. This did not happen. Resignation is a two step process, so I would know...
What is strange is that white didn't even get to play another move. Normally a game freezing like this would mean I lost connection and game was lost by "abandonment". But if that had happened it would have been white that made the last move. I didn't lost connection, but from my side white's clock ran down. But the record of the game says I resigned. I have never had this before.
