Hello, I saw it many times. It's a bug in Chess.com, it's not your mistake. Chess.com has a restarts almost once a week or more, so this bug can be ok soon.

has anyone else seen this bug where pieces 'float' and not in the square?
playing 1 minute. I'm not holding the piece or anything and can make a moves with other pieces while it is floating, this is the second time I've seen it. cost me this game when I was clearly leading then distracted me.
