exactly...bullet games are 3 minutes or less, standard are 15 minutes or more and blitz is everything in between....if there is a time increment it is calculated as if the game would be 40 moves in length

Yes, just as I suggested, I knew shennanigans must have caused it.
On the other hand, the actual title of my post indicated I thought it was a "bug".
Oh well. Titles aren't all they are cracked up to be.
My rating just went down 67 points for no reason.
I started at 1267, then I selected "new game" in 5/2 format.
My challenge was accepted, then competitor aborted game.
So I clicked "new game"
Same competitor accepted challenge, then aborted game again.
Then I clocked "new game"
Then same competitor accepted challenge, then aborted game again.
After about the 5th time, I noticed my rating was at 1200, and had apparantly been going down every time the competitor aborted a game.
Wtf?
