Bug in forums? If you take long time it deletes your work?

I just spent an hour editing and commenting a game using the built in board. Not exaggerating. :-(

I insert it, edit a post, press preview and the page instantly just clears the post. Just as if I had pressed "clear". The topic was all that was left.

Meanwhile I was editing and commenting and adding variants, a dialog about auto-saving due to 30 min timeout had appeared. Maybe this somehow interfered with the editing. If I do a quick edit (less than 30 mins), it seems to work as expected.

 Is my game still somewhere since I do not want to re-enter all the data and comments?

Unfortunately if you do take more than 30 minutes to post your comment, the page does time out and won't post your work.  If you're looking to do an in-depth analysis, your best bet is to use the analysis board here: http://www.chess.com/analysis-board-editor , then once you've got your game set up, go to the game editor tab and click Post to Chess.com.
