Yeah, it looks like a scroll bar. After it goes away, the code for the bug report tool starts loading.

When that animation/scrollbar/progress bar goes away, so does the whole chat And nothing else visibly happens. It is clearly broken.
@Martin_Stahl - as I said in my recent post above, Support admits it's broken.
Perhaps you can report your own details to Support, so they can figure out why it does work for you. Then that might help them help us.

I haven't seen any reports from staff that the bug report tool is broken and members are entering bug reports successfully.
The bug happens with the latest Firefox on Win10 without any extension. After clicking the "report bug" the chat window just closes.

The good news is that Ruben in Support has contacted me through the Ask a Question interface, which does work, and admitted that yes, there is a problem.
Those of you who are posting technical output might try sending those by:
IMPORTANT NOTE: it will be best to post your data here, and provide a link to this thread. This is because the typing interface does not allow pasting from the clipboard - you have to type everything manually. (I have reported this, too.)
Or they may give you an alternate method of delivering your information.
