Can an administrator or super administrator edit posts in a forum if he/she is not the author?
In one of the groups that I administer there is an important forum topic containing one post that I keep the locked, sticky forum thread. But I need to update it almost daily (it contains the current standings of a chess ladder I organize). Now I would like to have an assistant help me occasionally by unlocking that topic/post that I created and editing it. Is this possible?
No, but they can delete, lock, and make the forum sticky...
ADK
Well, what I'm finding out is that they can delelete, lock and make a given topic sticky (and that topic may contain threads/posts they did not author) but they cannot delete or edit individual posts they did not originate.
