Can i reset my ratings just for once?????
Sort:
i mean in theory if you are good you can set the lowest difference in elo between you and your opponent to 50 and infinite on the upside thus getting more points winning and drawing but you cant reset your rating

A game a day and it wont take too long. No-one is allowed to just set their rating to what they want it to be

Are the rankings skewed compared to like... chess tournament rankings? I remember in the old days like 4 or 5 years ago playing and almost getting to 1100. Then, I stopped playing for a while, my rank dropped real low and I slowly started working my way up, but got stuck around 900. I believe I am better at chess now than I was 4 or 5 years ago, so what is going on? Is everyone else getting better also? I always thought 800 900 rankings was like middle school level chess playing so I am pretty confused. I am a lot better than a lot of my friends who play irl. Sorry if this is not the correct thread for me to be posting this.

I am good at rapid, but it will take forever for me to get my rating to 1600... because thats how rapid works... is there any way i could get my rapid or/and blitz rating reset to 1400 or 1600?
