I like to right click to save the get pgn but now it is not working it goes back to the archive. Have I reached a limit of some sort? How do I detect my limits? Will I be able to download games tomorrow?
That's not how you get the PGN. If you are on the game, you left-click the link to get the PGN. If you are in your archive, you check the box(es) you want and click the Download PGN link at the bottom of that page.
You misunderstand and you don't realize I am doing the same thing for one game and not the next. I don't want left click because that does not let me control where the game is saved. Right click gives me the ability to choose the path. Your way probably works for you but what you don't realize is that the same operation is working for a number of games for me then it stops working.
If I'm misunderstanding it is because you didn't really explain how/where you are attempting the process.
I'm on the newer version of the site right now so I can't re-test but on the game itself, the click gives a pop-up with all the data in it. I've never tried right-clicking there but I would think the link just goes to the pop-up and not the data.
However, I can test a little later tonight and verify that but if you could verify exactly where you are trying to do it then maybe I can provide a clearer answer.
i have a similar problem, i was able to download the pgn by doing a left click, but i think i unvolunterly blocked the download,
I have this same problem today and yesterday. I select the games I played today with the check-boxes and try to download. I get the message: "Those PGNs are currently unavailable for download". Frustrating.

I just checked it now, tried different browsers, cleared cache, but facing the same issue. Seems to be server-side issue.
