Resolved: can't see the board in video lessons

I can't see the board on the video lessons on my laptop. I can see it on the desktop but rarely in a position to use it! I do have Java loaded - any suggestions?

Is the laptop on wifi or internet stick?

Whats the connectivity on the laptop like?  It may be that if it isn't strong enough it won't load the videos.

Also have you compared laptop to pc to see whats added on the browser (if anything) thats different? like addons

It's on stick. Don't have any trouble with videos off you tube etc. not sure about comparing with pc browser - i have, at best, a very basic ability to use computers so not sure how to do that

Is it just the board not showing?  Are you able to post me a screenshot of what you're seeing?  This could be caused by any number of things so at present its a process of elimination.

What version of Flash Player do you have?

As a temporary measure, you could try disabling Hardware Acceleration in Flash Player settings.

Also, what browser and Operating System are you using?

read about a few other people having problems seeing boards in various situations one suggestion that worked for a few was to try mozila - which i did and problem solved. Thanks to all for helpfull suggestions.
