Can't share a game to facebook

Hi-

Whenever I try to share a game through the "share this game" facebook icon, which used to work for me, I now cannot do it. I have two guesses why it does not work but I'm not sure. One, it may be that because I switched over to a secure (https) facebook it doesn't work. Or two, it just doesn't work for another reason haha.

If anyone has any information about this that can help I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I too cannot share games. I get a pop up with some loading bars but even after an hour nothing changes.

Same here. I get the loading screen but it never works.

Can you all tell me which browser and version you're using please? I just tried Firefox 4 and it worked on there.

Which ones are you using?

I have tried firefox, chrome and IE (all the latest versions) no luck with any of them.

Can you check your FaceBook "security" setting -- if you are browsing FaceBook under HTTPS and try to share a Chess.com game under HTTP, facebook javascript won't like it and will refuse to let you share the game.

Can you check your facebook settings for me please?

I do not have "secure browsing (https)" enabled, and never have.

I should also mention that I have tried this on 3 different computers each on a different ISP.

k, thanks. I've just tested on Chrome and having the same problem you are. Odd that it worked on FF4, but not chrome.

I was just able to make it work. It seems that it wont work if I am already logged in to facebook. If I am logged out of facebook and try to share a game it will give me the login screen and then it works.

I too use chrome - will try the logging out to see if it works.
