I've tested this a couple of times on my Nexus 7, and so far can't reproduce it. After creating open challenge for a 960 game, all controls seem to default back to Standard the next time I create a challenge.
This isn't a rematch request is it?
Anyway, can you outline exactly how you're sending these new challenges that always end up being 960 against your wishes? Many thanks!
I was doing to requests on the app. Just regular play and then find and start game. But I tried one of the suggestions, the one about starting a game through the chess.Com site and it worked. Seems it's a glitch with the app for me. Gonna reinstall and hopefully that will fix it.

Good choice! A reinstall is a good solution. We also have released a new update with some good fixes :)
Hi, I played a couple of standard games and all was fine. Then tried 960 and after that I can't start any standard games. All become 960. A glitch or what? Do I need to reinstall? Happened to anyone else?
