Did you click the "Save Changes" button? How long ago did you uncheck the box? Maybe it takes a while for the system to register the change.

I just read the previous thread you made about your problem. Now that kco and I are sufficiently satisfied that you clicked the save button we can move on to other suggestions. :P

I've defniately unchecked the 'email alerts' setting in my account settings but I'm still e-mailed constantly with alerts that it's my move.
Any help would be appreciated.
