Challenges not reaching friend challenge

I always use Chess.com via Facebook and signed up to Chess.com so that I could play chess regularly with a friend who also has a Facebook account. We regularly had three games running concurrently. Since the new page format appeared a few days ago I have issued three of four challenges to my friend none of which has reached her. In each case I have been told that my challenge has been submitted. Similarly, she has issued two challenges to me neither of which has arrived. Can someone tell me please what is wrong and/or how to correct it.
