can it be changed from beginner to new to game?

Hi, i started off setting my settings to beginner, but now I want to see if i can change to an intermediate skill level because if I my rating was 911 and my opponent was 797 I would probably get +10 but when my sister is rating 911 and opponent 797 she get +53, so I get less rating points just off to a slower pace of getting your rating higher.
