Chat limit decreased on iOS

This has been a problem for a while now, and I have no idea why. I play a lot of Daily Games, and I chat with my friends a lot using the Chat feature. It’s great, but recently, iOS took a huge hit. You used to be able to see 50 messages back, but now you can see only 10. This makes it so that you can’t really have any sort of meaningful conversation, as the context will be gone. iOS seems to be the only platform that has been affected by this. I emailed support, and they said they’d look into it, but… nothing. It’s clear that for some reason, they nerfed the iOS app, and have no intention on changing it back. I haven’t seen anyone talk about this, but I thought I’d make it known.

You should go to the App section ( if you are on iOS 18 or more) and open the messages app. or just go to the messages section (if lower then iOS 18) and click Keep messages on forever.
From now on. When you turn on that setting. Every message after you turned on that setting will stay forever.
If this did not work, I am sorry cause that is the only way (I) know only.
Try asking someone else if you need it

I should’ve specified the Daily Game Chat. I don’t mean the iOS messenger. I mean the Chess.com chat during Daily Games, which has been severely handicapped for seemingly no reason…

It might have been bugged or smth. :p. Try asking support to fix it

As I stated in the first post, I did, and… nothing. It’s clear they aren’t planning on fixing it.
