You most likely were just disconnected.

I wasn't disconected , as soon as i had him in bind his clock wound down and when his clock went to 2 minutes ,and i had 8 plus the time switched and then i had two minutes and he had eight .What's up with that????

But I kept playing and knew that still barely enough to finish him off ,i had superior postion

And then the technique again.

LOOK I'VE BEEN PLAYING CHES A LONG LONG TIME ,AND ON LINE IN THE EARLY DAYS OF THE INTERNET AND CHEAT CODES WERE ALL OVER. AND ALWAYS IN THE COMPETITIVE AREA. PEOPLE WILL CHEAT FOR POINTS IF THEY CAN. AND THIS GUY USDED SOME KIND OF HACK ON ME.

All I want is to alert who ever runs this site to a problem and hope they get to the bottom of it.

Could you please explain (wthout SHOUTING) how a cheat code would work in live chess?

I mean I know how cheat codes work, but how on earth would you use a "cheat code" in chess???

Actually, what you described is exactly what you would see during a disconnect situation. As far as I know, the clients never directly communicate to each other so your opponent has no way to impact/interrupt your connection and can't even get your IP information because of that.

That all said,  if you truly think it was some kind of cheating/hack, contact staff directly by the ticketing system.

Discussions of cheating, however, are not allowed in the general forums. For that discussion you would need to join the following group.
