I have two main complaints:
1. Players that stall. Many occasions it will be on a penultimate move that would lead to mate. The opponent lets the clock run down. I played 30 min games so often times there is 10 or 15 mins remaining on the clock. Is there anything that can be done to safeguard against thus sort of play ?
2. I am currently circa 1430 and if I play a lower rated opponent, say a 1200, I do not expect to have more difficult games than when I play a 1400-1600. I am convinced that I am not playing a human and am playing an engine. The moves are slow and evenly paved and so calculated and precise. Of course, I could had just encountered a 1200 in their ascendency and/or I played particularly poor. But I’ve played enough games to ‘sense’ that the strength of my opponent is not congruent with their rating.
These issues I encounter are basically poor sportsmanship, cheating and sore losers. If I become a premium member will I be able to avoid those that do not play fairly or in the spirit of the game ?
I would like to develop my rating and not suffer almighty points loss when I come across a lower rating player that just annihilates me.
I thought chess players were classier opponent then other online games, but sad to say from my experience, real dickheads on this site

You can discuss cheating related issues in the cheating forum club but not in the general forums.
