cheating bots still allowed

Didn't you know? Diamond members are issued an unlimited use bot when they pony up the cash. Platinum and gold members get one too but it's restricted to a certain # of games per day....

But seriously, bots are apparently pretty easy to detect and all those closed accounts show chess.com does not tolerate their use.

The bots don't make illegal moves. It was probably en passant.

Do that to bot?. How to move while it is not really my turn?.

It works exactly the same way when playing on a real board.

they are competitors and the worse the experience on your competitors site the better your with be (more $$$ is always the answer). go throw 5 one dollar bills on the street and watch people fight over them. there is a lot more than $5 at stake here. what would you do if you owned an online chess company?

Pretty confident the site doesn't do that. I would guess that other sites don't do that either.
