checkmate sound

Just switched from android to iPhone and It doesn’t play the checkmate sound, it only plays the “check” sound. I’m using the default theme.

Also I noticed that “show legal moves” feature works when it’s my turn, but when waiting on opponents move and I select my pieces.. the legal moves don’t highlight at all. Are these expected on iPhone or have I missed a setting or it’s a bug

The second one is intentional, you can premove some illegal moves

The iOS app is significantly worse than Android in multiple ways, and this is one of them. It is not a bug, and you didn’t miss a setting.

Facing the exact same situation. In fact I am regretting moving to iphone because of this absence of checkmate sound! Pls can we get this fixed?
