Chess bots on app playing way above their reported level.

ahhhhh no wonder iv'e been losing to morphy bot

yeah I've had the same problem, getting stomped on by a 250 bot who has 96% accuracy. I didnt even play a bad game I had 90% and it shouldve been over in around 5 moves didnt expect to play the magnus carlsen of bots ffs

This was on the android app. I played him again on the computer and his first four moves were just randomly moving his knight around.

C'mon. seems like it has been 2 days here. All bots clearly playing around 1800 right now. very disappointed.

No wonder, it actually tilted me off the face of the earth

Relieved to read that there seemes to be a bug in the app, had some bad mood yesterday losing to "Vinh" several times and then switching to weaker bots without even a chance to win. Even "Aaron" seems to have gotten closer to his goal "playing like Bobby Fischer" ;-)

A quick fix would be nice, but at least I know now that the bug is not in my brain.

Hmmmm, sounds like the bots have got tired of losing - this is reminding me of "Westworld"

Wow, yeah I just lost to the CodeMiko bot who I normally go beat for fun. I really thought I was just getting worse at the game

Bug fixes can take some time, especially if they already started working on other updates and they may be folding the fix into that.

Though, I just updated and Elani (400) hung a piece in the first 10 moves, so it looks like it may be fixed. v4.2.7-googleplay-210478

I think bots are turning cleverer itself day by day. That is why I usually play only with humans most of the time.

All of a sudden i cant gain access to all the bots, they are locked for some reason and i keep getting told to go premium when i have a paid membership.

You don't have a paid membership on this account.

I reached out to support for charging me 3 times instead of once for my membership. All of a sudden i cant see my premium membership, support hasn't contacted me but i think they have received my message and there is no refund. I just really hope they are fixing the issue.

Support has been having a lot of tickets, so it could take up to 12 days for them to get to your ticket, though it may be sooner.

But not having the premium explains the bot issue you're seeing.

Usually I play against bots on 1200 and when I loose I go down one level. Now I'm loosing against bots on 400.  I was seriously thinking that I have brain problems.

Despite I keep my original level on other chess apps and puzzles I was really scared.
