I recently started the free trial for the premium membership last week. I really enjoyed the membership, but I don't think it is worth the high price tag. I don't play chess enough to really utilize it. I cancelled my membership through the apple subscriptions page yesterday about at 1pm (for reference I started my trial later in the night at around 8pm). Several hours after cancelling, I receive a charge for 85$. I have attempted to contact Chess.com support, but just met with an auto response error blaming the servers. I am aware of these server errors, but I can probably assume they do payment through a separate API that is not run on their server. I have failed to receive an actual response from their support team and am coming here to seek more help.
You'll get the refund. It may take a little time for support to reply due to high ticket levels.
