Chess.com Lessons

I recently purchased a gold membership on the chess.com app for the 5 daily lessons. However, the lessons have changed since the recent app update (they are now the same as the ones on the website). Since then I have not been able to access them as they appear with a lock icon and ask me to purchase premium if I click on them. There are 1 or 2 very basic lessons, i.e. how the pieces move that I can still access but I'm not interested in those. Please help! 

The default for gold membership is access to the beginner lessons and the new Android app aligns with the rest of the site on that membership benefit.

You can probably use a mobile browser to access the old lessons. On the Lessons page, at the very bottom, there is a link to them.

Thanks for your help. Are you aware that this is completely different to what is said on the app when purchasing a membership? On the app is says diamond has unlimited lessons, platinum has 10  per day and gold has 5 per day. It also has no mention that some of the lessons you aren't allowed to access. Having purchased the membership for this I am very disappointed that I can no longer access them through the app.

I'm not staff, just posting information about it. The app was updated to match the site. There is an APK site that archives previous versions of apps. If you trust those, you could uninstall and reinstall from there.

You might also open a ticket and see if there is a way to get the old app from a more supported manner, though I don't know how long the old app will ultimately be allowed to connect to the backend.
