Chess dot com board not full size on iPad app

This is super frustrating, I switched to new 2024 iPad Air and now live boards are small, puzzles, reviews, even playing with bots work correctly and boards are in full screen.

Chess.com maybe use some subscription funds and get it fixed quickly? Surely your devs can afford a new iPad to reproduce the issue and fix.

Exact same issue. iPad m4 - think ill pause my subscription too!

This sucjs my old pro died, I get the new one $2k with 2Tb , I realize I suck at chess but no full screen sucks even more. Any work around?s

the work around is to not use chess.com

The “small board” during live games problem on the iPad is unfortunate, but I’ve discovered that playing on chess.com using the Safari browser is a really nice experience on the iPad.

Version 4.5.1 should have a fix specifically for the M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air (11 and 13 inches).

For More general size issues, not related to the above fix, the Display Zoom > More Space setting on the device should set to Default

Latest update fixes it for Default (most people’s setting) display zoom, great first step.

Not useful for me and many others who prefer “more space” setting, but good to see some love for iPad bugs.

Can anyone explain who on “more space” games vs bots, older game reviews board is full screen but online games is tiny 1/4th board, I’m hopeful this will also get fixed in the future.
