I resigned from a game that I looked at later and though that had I continued to play would have won. In fact I almost positive I was just tired and should not have been playing anyway(addicted), Anyway can I load this position in the computer(on chess.com I do not have one) and let it play it out?

Skwerly

if you put the position here i can check it with shredder.  heck, there are enough good players here that we can all check it together.  load it up and show us!  :)

tryst

I have done the EXACT same thing. Too tired, but addicted, and then I resign an even position, or even a winning position. It happens...Laughing

kokakola

It happened to me several times... Now I always try to think several times before hitting resign button.

Ah, a winning position. I had one of those once, or maybe it was just a dream.....

blackfirestorm

I was in a game with a much stronger player ... he offered me a draw and I thought "Yeah I will (thankfully) take it" ...

Little did I realise later on I found out I was just 4 moves from checkmating him and I hadn't seen it because of being tired.

Chess LOL

BigTy

A little while ago I went to offer a draw in what looked to be an almost completely equal position, and I accidently clicked the resign button... No, chess.com live chess doesn't ask 'are you sure' after you click it either.
