Chess pieces won't show

Hi! I am new to the site and just started my first game here. But theres a problem. The board shows up but the pieces won't. I've tried Chess.com with Chrome and Firefox and the same thing happened for both browsers. I am running XP.

Any idea's on why this is happening and how it can be fixed?

Thank you very much. Tried something similar before but just pressed the wrong keys :) .
