Are chess.com e-mails really neccesary? "It's your move" "New game has started"" "Game over". I'm on chess.com virtually every day except major holidays but frankly, I don't check my e-mail every day, and when I do I've got a bunch of these things to delete, all of which I already know. Do other people find these e-mails helpful or are they just an annoyance?

Hi Eddie,  you do not find chess.com emails useful because you get into chess.com everyday and you do not check your inbox daily, but I am at the inverse. I check my inbox daily, but I can not get into chess.com everyday. For people in my situation chess.coms emails are vital. Maybe there should be an option whether to receive them or not.

Hi Humberto, check out artfizz, they are in fact optional. The default is set to get them when you join chess.com. I have reset mine, I'm glad you find tthem useful. chess.com is a great site.
