chess.com on nook

Help! When i was playing live chess on my nook, for some reason, the only piece i could move was the bishop! Any suggestions?

I was in check!

I am having problems with using the new NOOK also.  I was dissapointed when trying to play against the computer.  There must be an app available that will solve these problems.  Hopefully someone out there knows more about it.

Sorry if I insult your chess-skills, but could it have been the case that moving the bishop was the only way to end the check (for example by blocking or capturing)?
