I'd like to join but its rejecting me with the following error message:

Sorry, your average time per move is too high for this tournament! You must have an average time per move less than 3 hours to register.

I don't find anywhere on the site, stats or otherwise, that tells me what my average time per move is. Also, it seems kind of weird. It's a 24 hour time control per move. I play plenty of those games, and I never time out on my move. Kind of lame restriction.

Look at your stats. Click on the Online stats to get more info. It says your average is 9 hours per move.

You didn't include a link to the tournament. There have been a lot of those tournaments recently. Here is one:

https://www.chess.com/tournament/32nd-chesscom-quick-knockouts-1801-2000

This one says its max is 3 hours per move.

You've only played 45 games so you should be able to lower your average time/ move pretty quickly.

I think that the tournaments started in reaction to tournaments being dragged out by some players using every minute of available time.
