Chessconnect button disappeared?
Got the same issue too.
The 'Connect' button appears when logged out, and also when logged in to my account, but not when logged in to my son's account. His is premium, mine is free. Have tried making sure his settings are all the same.
Using the latest versions of Chrome and ChessConnect extension.
Are yours also Premium accounts that don't show the Connect button? Can't see why that would make a difference though.
I am the developer of Chessconnect. Apparently there are multiple users out there, where the Connect button is no longer shown. Can anyone help me recreate this scenario? My chess.com still shows the Connect button.

I too am having this problem, I tried everything I could find to do online but the chessconnect icon still shows when logged out and not when logged in. I am using a free account. Win 10. Any solutions out there?
I can reproduce the problem when switching to the beta track. I made a fix for that which I will submit to Google for approval today. Hopefully, that helps.

My guess is that chess.com started to roll out the beta to a percentage of the users. So some are on the beta without choosing to have it and some are not. But that is just a guess.

I submitted a new beta to the Chrome Web Store. I will post here, when it is approved and available. Then it would be great, if someone gave it a try. If it works, I will patch the regular release, too.

Beta code eventually rolls out to the rest of the site as production. To get Beta code members have to sign up for it.

Nevertheless: here is the Chessconnect beta with the fix.
Can somebody please check, if this fixes the problem? Please make sure to uninstall the regular version of Chessconnect first. Running the two simultaneously will run into problems.
If it does not fix the problem: can somebody please send me an HTML dump of their chess.com web page. I mean, the one where the connect button is missing?

I have been using the Chessconnect extension for quite sometime to play with my Chessnut board. The system always worked well. The extension makes a 'connect' button appear in the left colum of Chess.com interface and you connect your board.
Few days ago, this button just disappeared. I tried to reinstall the extension but nothing.
Even more mysterious:
1. If I log out from my account, the button reappears. However, when I log in, it disappears again
2. I have no problems with lichess. This makes me think that there must be a problem with Chess.com
Are you experiencing this problem too? Is there anyone who would like to suggest a fix?
