I use CM 11, too and thought about this. I think it is very difficult if not outright impossible for the developer to create all those virtual game engines playing on a certain level.
It is especially difficult because hardware plays a decisive role: An virtual opponent rated 1400 may have approx. that strength - but only on those hardware CM 11 was developed for and with. On modern multicore machines that virtual opponent might be 1600 or even more.
i want to know if the ratings in chessmaster 11 are really on the same level as ratings players have in fide or uscf. im trying to get advice on this topic.
