Club Tournaments Not Appearing in Events or Current Tournaments

Hi,

I am not able to get my daily club tournaments to appear in my club's Tournaments, Events, or Current Events section. Or the general chess.com tournament section . It only shows up under events that I manage . This is an ongoing issue every time I create a tournament using "Club Events: Daily Club Tournament." . For example, this tournament does not show up:
GT Frosty Tactics: Ice Pawn Clash (1000-1100).

Here is my club where the issue is happening:
Grand Tourneys Club

I've tried everything—checking settings, using different browsers, waiting hours (even days), and making sure the tournament is properly created under the club. I have also tried:

  • Making the tournament invitation-only
  • Setting it to club members only

None of these options have worked. The only way my club members can access the tournament is if I manually share the link or if I go to the tournament and select Invite Users.

Additionally, my club has a coordinator, and I would like him to be able to invite users to tournaments from the Tournament page.

Is there a known issue with club tournaments not displaying properly? Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a fix? Also, is there a way for my club coordinator to invite members to tournaments?

Thanks in advance for any help!

So called "club tournaments" do not really exist. They actually are linked to the creator, not to the club. As of today there's no way to really link them to the club, else than to do an announcement or a forum with a link.

I've been running club tournaments for years. I am shocked to learn I am but a figment of my own imagination. Well, Apotheosis Now, I guess.

What do you mean?

I mean I have a club on chess.com. And I am the tournament director for the club. I set up a tournament and choose "Invite Club I Manage" to invite the members of my club. hth

Yes, but as I explained in my post, technically those tournaments are not linked to your club. It's just your tournaments to which members of a club are invited.

There's absolutely nothing that links the tournament to the club except yourself and that's why they don't have a page listing them on the club.

An odd distinction.

Chess.com is full of odd things.

Now that I think about it, tournaments linked to clubs might just never happen as clubs can be managed by anyone but tournament management is bound to your premium status.

Hi. It is obvious that if you make the tournament "Invite Only", then only the club will receive, if its players are invited.
I refused to invite clubs, because different players play at different speeds, and considering the limit for subscribers (75-75-100), it turns out to be a long wait of finish
