In the Live Chess you should see a chat window directly under the game board and then in the Online Chess you should see a chat window adjacent to the game board on the right side.

there is a very tiny window just above the send button. I can type in it but it is so small that I can only see black specks where the letters should be. When I press "send" the message appears in the much larger area above and it is as I typed it. What can I do to make the tiny box the normal size?
Guess there is no needto that.
Just run your pointer back and foward to check (and correct if necessary) your message.
If the message is too long go to the opponent´s page (clicking on his name) and to the right of that page look for "Send a message" Write it in there..
And to avoid the pessure of writing in your play page, get out, go to Word or similar, write your note and then simply "copy and paste", in any of the two places I mentioned above.
