Add minimum account age/games played filter for matchmaking
I don't believe that any filters are going to be created but staff are looking into changes in the matchmaking algorithm that would work in a functionally similar manner

Filters immediately address the problem with minimal dev time. This could be implemented by end of business tomorrow.
"Looking into changes" really isn't enough. This is an obvious opportunity to push quality of life features for established players to test efficacy before making sitewide changes. Chess.com operates from a disadvantaged position where cheaters represent a major UX problem. You can only catch them after they've created a poor experience for legitimate players. Forcing new accounts to establish themselves creates asymmetric costs where an initial investment is required before they have the opportunity to cheat.
This is a classic example of deprioritizing paying members because there is no upsell opportunity.
What a shame.
Anyone else willing to cancel their subscription if Chess.com continues to prioritize free accounts over paid accounts?

No. In fact, I think prioritizing free users is very good! Many people can't afford or do not want subscriptions, so giving more features to free users is definitely a good thing for the vast majority of players.
Put it forward as a suggestion,
How do I do that? I thought I already had by making this post.

You have to use the Support system.

Strawman.
Here's a secret: You can suggest things, but I highly doubt chess.com even looks at it. It's probably just there to make us feel heard, but they probably ignore us.

I can’t tell if that’s sarcastic or not…
