Conditional Moves

Thanks for the partial bio, royal, but you are completely missing it. If you are making cm's while the opponent is online, they stick. If you make a mistake (mouse slip, etc.) while entering them, it's in the game if they move while you are in the middle of it.

Did you see the part where i said it is best if it is used in the End Game and better you mate sooner or later. The other case your opponent is moving so slow for your taste and tired of waiting for them to move.

In your case your opponent is clearly moving fast and no need for Conditional Moves. I recommended doing it against this type for strategy reasons. It will cause them to focus on you and they forget about all their other games with them playing stronger then they would normally play. Also check their profile and see how fast they move on average. That way you see this problem coming during a game. Start playing players with 5hrs+ /move or longer like 8hrs+/move.

Or maybe your playing a Blitz player and might show up in stats under time per move. In which case Conditional Moves might help them and hurt you in the game. Understand what type player they are here. Again look up their profile and see how many Blitz games they have played or how many Bullet games they have played. If they have more than 200 or have been playing daily i recommonded not using it against them as they might feel more comfortable. Or wait till they are not online.

Have to be blunt here. How is it you slip when it is time to make a conditional move? Does it happen any other time? If no then take your time as i figure your rushing. Can not blame conditional move for these mistakes. I also say if your opponent is online when you do it enter 1 Conditional move then go back to the game and evaluate it. If you find more then added them on by delete the previous.

Slips happen sometimes when entering cm's. The OP was wondering why a blunder may happen in these situations, which has happened to me, and, I'd bet, others.

But, thanks again for telling anyone that will listen about your knowledge of the site! Keep getting those points! You'll be at a million soon! You have been extremely irrelevant to an OP that has played 29 games.

one difference in games and entering moves is the submit button....sorry I don't play touch move on a computer...and damn sure won't on a cell phone

Slips? So this is an ongoing issue with you here. Thenit is not the Conditional Moves option. And since it is not happening when you making moves playing. And it gives you more than enough time to make a conditional move. No mouse slips either navigating this site. That leaves just you!

What an idiot you can be. Oh, yeah! I have these slips all the time! And it's just me!

Do us all a favor and read the thread entirely. Twice. Maybe then you'll get it. If not, I'm sure you'll make a number of posts showing your superiority while padding your points, which you are so proud of.

Disadvantage? Yes. Opponent may focus just on you and play stronger than they normally play. Consistant rapid moves is the most common response. Save this till the End Game.

Huh ?

Yeah, I usually play crap in correspondance because I don't care, but when I see someone is using premoves, I suddenly stop and think, because... because... huh... whatever.

What if you are at a point that no matter what your opponent does you know what you are going to do? (e.g. endgame). Any way to set your next moves without having to guess where he'll move or creating all possible lines?
