Confirm Move not working correctly?

When I play rapid. 30 minutes or more games, I like to use the confirm move option. I'll move the piece there for a few moments while I double check the move.  If all looks good, I hit the green check mark.  But lately, if I leave the piece in the proposed square for more than a few seconds, the move is made automatically and the green check mark still shows. It changes to the opponents move as normal. Has anyone else experienced this?  I'm using a very old iPad.  Thanks.

I haven't seen that either, but I haven't paused very long before hitting the confirm button. I usually hit it immediately, but when I have forgotten, the move has remained on my side until I did. most of the time I play on a DGT board without a conform option.

My iPad is so old it wont let me update to the latest version of the app. I've just never experienced any problems before. I guess it's time for a new device. Thanks.

Yeah, it's very possible the issue is the app age. Though it's possible that no else holds a piece that long and has seen the issue on newer versions
