is getting worse and worse.  I regularly lose 20-30 seconds at a time, which is unsustainable for 5 minute games.  Definitely will not be upgrading to paid status and looking for alternative sites that don't have constant problems.  I can't be the only one?

here is a possible solution... not guaranteed... that is to download and start executing openDNS(free download and free to use). this will allow your system to grab a unique server session rather than share the one dns server that your IP employs (altho some IPs are better than others)..then before playing any game, update today at least once, this allows your router to grab a new session and new IP address, rather than use yesterday's session, because if yesterdays session gets up to 23hours 59 mins 59 secs - guess what - the router negotatiates a new session and causes a timeout during play and you've lost....also when you first get a game, check whether the game has good ( green)  latency, otherwise abort....

let me know if this makes a difference....

Raptor, thanks for the suggestion, I'll def give that a try.

I have Comcast high speed internet, download of 10MB+, so that's definitely not it. I've used Firefox and Chrome, no difference.

Yes, this is about live chess.

It seems to have gotten better today, but this last week has been absolutely horrific.

There's your problem. Third world countries have more reliable internet than comcast.
