Constant connection problems

I have had problems running with internet explorer, as my browser. So, i use google as the browser, and have had no problems. Try it, and let me know. i think it will fix your problem

Hi, thanks for replies, just for info, I normally play using an iPad on the chess.com website. It's great (or would be if the connection wasn't a problem!) to play on.Today I tried using google chrome but this was more sluggish than Safari and I still had problems. I then tried using the app (which I'm not keen on compared to the website) and this was just the same.....'loading the game'....I lost loads of time and ...might as well be game over! Maybe it is my broadband connection although I've never thought that it was problematic before now. Maybe I'll have to stop playing chess (doh!) until I can afford Fibre optic broadband?!
Please take note chess.com

@Tr3voir- Have you tried using the Chess.com app available in the app store? Its free and should offer you a better mobile experience.
@patel77188- What browser and operating system are you using?

Apologies last post was talking rubbish........
I use Safari but have tried Internet explorer and Google chrome which made no difference!

Im having the same problem. all through my games Im getting a connection issue message and then about 20 seconds comes off my clock.. its really frustrating...
just started for me this evening. It seems related to the ads on the left of the board, and my browesr's attempt to block them. Only happens with IE. Noprbolem with chrome.

Im using chrome. just lost a totally won game do to this. Is chess.com working on this. It is really affecting the user experience if its on their side.

@kylar1- what version of chrome, and Windows (or Mac) are you using? Any plugins or extensions? Are you using Wifi or a wired connection?

.....Version 31.0.1650.57 m....I dont think I have any plug ins or extensions....it just started happening today....wired connection.....any ideas Jac1yn?

very odd, kylar. can you try rebooting your machine and opening ONLY chess.com in your browser and playing? and what kind of computer do you have?
does that restart make a difference?

Please let me know how it looks now. Just made a configuration change, so please reopen Live Chess if you are logged in right now. Does it change anything in your experience? Thank you

The restart didnt make any difference. I have a fairly expensive dell pc which I bought a couple of months ago. This morning it seems to be working fine so Happy customer! Thanks for the responses guys.
I seem to be having constant connection problems when playing 5 minute chess. I think I've almost won a game then the time changes and it's always me who's lost the time...I've lost so many games like that..getting so fed up with it , it's making me think twice about playing. I've got good solid Internet but......
