Constant Connection Problems Lately

Has something changed in the recent past which would account for suddenly having poor connections? I used to connect just fine, but now I am constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. I notice a lot more yellow and red connection bars on my opponents too.

On a related note, is it possible to disable that wretched reconnection screen? I am getting one every minute or two, and it serves no purpose. Worst of all, it opens a window right in the middle of the board and causes all of the pieces to disappear, making it impossible to concentrate on the game.

Which browser and version are you using ?  ( i need to know exactly so i can test it my end)

Is your browser up to date?

When was the last time you cleared cookies and history?

What type of connection do you have to the internet? adsl ? wifi ?  aircard?

Are you running any other applications when trying to log into live chess? Like media players,sending/receiving emails? current downloads?

I've had a lot of connection problems in the last few days. I rarely had them before. I'm using firefox 9.0.1. I cleared my cookies, cache and history when the problem started, but it is still happening. I connect through wifi cable router which shows connection speed of 65Mbps. I still have a fast connection to the internet when I am disconnected from my game. I'm not running any other applications and no other tabs open in the browser.
