I don't think you are making things up but I do think that the disparity in the number of times you have won (239) from a disconnection by your opponent compared the number of times you have lost (14) should show you that most disconnections aren't caused by chess com.
I do think you can get through to Support if you are persistent and look for things like “get more help”.
During games moves lag. You make move but it doesn't show up. Then clock shows it was running during the lag. Stops during games and you can't move at all. Start games and nothing happens. Different problems all the time.
I have used this site for years. Now, customer support is a bot.
