Continue game vs computer

I play a lot chess versus other human players at Chess.com (10 minute match). Sometimes my human opponent leaves the game for any reason, and then I want to play the rest of the game vs the computer. When I click the Play Computer button on Chess.com, the pawn color is changed; so if I was playing white, I am switched automatically to black to play versus the computer. How can this be changed so I can play my own pawns versus the computer?

Another member recently saw the same problem of reversed colors when finishing a game against the computer.

As a workaround, you could open the game from your archive and then click on the info tab. You should see an option to "Finish vs Computer".
