Does chess.com not have a phone number for customer support? or  I don't want to speak to ai chessica, who is of no help. All it does it creates a ticket and says I will be contacted in 1- 3 days and still get no acutal person to help me with the billing of my membership. Can someone please tell me, is there another way to contact customer support rather than the ai chat bot?

No. They don't have a phone number.

The AI support helps cut down on the cost of them having to answer the same questions over and over. When you have thousands of new members every day, it costs a lot of money to keep a staff that answers the same questions over and over

Did you make it to the billing part where they ask if any of a list of ten or so questions would help you?

So I was just charged for a diamond membership four days ago. I've been meaning to cancel my membership, but I have been in the hospital for a family emergency. Once I saw chess. com taking $120 out of my bank account, I immediately contacted customer support, hoping to cancel and get refunded. But I haven't been able to reach anyone. I'm not using chess.com and was just looking to get refunded. I know how to cancel my membership but I just want to make sure I will get my money back.

I did that lol I said I wanted a refund and then I was given this as a reply "I'm happy to offer you a one-time discount to continue your chess journey. Is that something you would be interested in? If not, is there anything we can change in the product that would lead you to consider keeping your subscription? Whatever you decide, I'm here to help. " and then I replied saying I am not interested, would like a refund, and cancel my membership. 4 days later, still no response.

Are you able to help me. Or get someone from billing to assist me, please? Because I did all that, and it has been 4 days, and still no response back.

I have no direct line to Support. However, I am condident that they will process your refund soon.

I love that you are confident, although as of right now, I don't have the same confidence in them as you do. I do have another question: should I cancel my subscription now or wait till I get a confirmation that they will refund me?

You can cancel it. It doesn't close your account. It just cancels the auto-renewal.

If you weren't going to get a refund, the subscription would just run out its normal term.
