Daily Chess - Game Update Failed

The “Game Update Failed” message pops up when I try to confirm my move in Daily Chess. I have not been able to move for a while now after multiple attempts. It is not a network issue, as other apps, and even the forum section of this app, work just fine. Anything I can do?

Man, the same thing is happening to me. I updated the app, logged in and out and nothing is working. I have 22 hours to make a move too, hope this can be fixed soon.

I have the same problem! "Game Update Failed" after any move. Downloaded the app again, logged in... no change.

I have same problem. Very frustrating. Is it a Chess.com system issue? If not, what's the fix?

It appears that some tickets have been put in about the issue and I have reached out as well. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Same thing. Deleted and downloaded app, no change. Still sending me notifications, so some of my opponents can make moves. Is it an iPhone issue?

Hi, I'm having the same problem with games ongoing (i.e. Update not accepted & retry option not working; the internet connection is fine, logging in/out makes no difference), the clock ticking and don't want to lose valuable ratings points. The only thing I could add is I did an update on my iPhone, mind everything else is working. Help! please sort as soon as possible

This should only be impacting iOS. Developers are being engaged.

 

If you are close on time on any games, using a mobile browser may be a good workaround until it is fixed.

Although I am sure the Admins are aware the ‘daily’ games are not updating, will we be allowed more time? I am soon to be timed out of about 10 games ...

Same issue for the last 5 hours. Not able to move. I log out and log on, even I uninstalled the app. But the issue persists.

Developers are looking into it but using a mobile browser to make your moves is a workaround.
