Check with Chrome:
  1. Click the menu or Tools/Wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click the Show advanced settings... link.
  4. Click Content Settings in the 'Privacy section.'
  5. Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript in the 'JavaScript' section.

'Allow all sites to run JavaScript' was already checked for Chrome.  I tried to do TT and the daily puzzle again and still no luck.
