deleting messages

Hi. How do you delete messages on the app? I try to delete them, 'archive' appears, not 'delete', so I touch that, they disappear but it's only temporary, when I pull the page down they're all restored. I use an iPad and iPhone.

Martin, would you know offhand why I was able to post images on a forum recently. But when I tried to post a painting in a message the other day it wouldn't insert it? I use an iphone6.

It was a similar size to the ones I'd posted before. Just wondered if this problem had been reported by others.

I don't recall seeing it in the forums recently but it's possible.

I would think that would work better. I would have to see if maybe messages act differently, but overall filesize is all I can think of.
