Deleting old chats?

How do you delete old private chats?
Do they just stay there forever?
I'm not talking about messages.
I only have my phone if that makes a difference.

No, you can't delete those.
Are you sure? I talked with one person and now that chat is gone but I have another one that won't delete...
I'm positive I deleted one before but I can't remember how 🤔
I think you may have made it inactive temporarily by pressing the 'x' next to the chat. You can't delete it

The site wide chats can go inactive but can't be deleted. Messages can be deleted.
OK thanks guys. It's no big deal I'm just a little strange
For example I always delete everything, like text messages and emails, call logs, everything.

Just login on the website from a computer. Generally on the website you have much more options. Probably also works on the website from a mobile device
what about messages that i can't read?! ... when i clik on the message i recived.. it's a blank page.. lol.
