diamond membership doesn’t work

Can’t do unlimited puzzles etc.. Every time I click upgrade it says I’m already subscribed.
Last night, Also I did the free trial on my other account on this phone when I just started playing again after a couple years but since I don’t even know the login info for that account I made this new account and clicked free trial again and it purchased it which is fine but now I have the problem stated above, maybe that messed it up?
So I found my old account info and signed in and the diamond membership is activated on that account instead of my new one even though I subscribed while in new account??

In post 2 you said you did the trial on this account as well. If you purchased through the app, a staff member has to add the membership to the account.
That said, you will be charged on both now, so you'll probably want to write a ticket to support and close one of the accounts.

I was going to do the trial on my new account but it just purchased it instead. I don’t understand why my old account got the membership and not my new account since I was logged into my new account when I did the purchase. I’m doing all of this through iOS app.

Memberships on the app are tied to the store app account ID, not the device. I don't know how it exactly works for linking though.
You will need to contact staff to resolve.
